House Passes $3 trillion Coronavirus Stimulus — But that's not going to mean further tests

1. The core of the 1,800-page bill is $875 billion for state and local governments, and $20 billion each for tribal governments and U.S. territories, a big Democratic goal that Republicans have strongly opposed.
2. The budget includes a round of $1,200 stimulus checks for eligible adults and would grow the pool of individuals who might obtain them.
3. There's also another $75 billion for research, additional rules on hazard insurance for critical employees, $75 billion in mortgage aid, $100 billion in rental assistance, another $25 billion for the Postal Service, student loan repayment up to $ 10,000 per borrower, and improvements of federal nutrition and unemployment services.
